Home of the Shaker Museum

Since it was leaf peeping time in New England, accommodations were hard to find. The only accommodations I could find in the Lebanon - Hanover area was on Mascoma Lake at the Mary Keene Bed and Breakfast on 4 A off from Highway 4 east from Lebanon. Little did I know that is would be next to the Shaker Museum. We arrived too late to enjoy the lake, but the area is serene and would be a great place for more than an overnight stay.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A Very Tranquil Picturesque and Interesting Respite
Cons:No Night Life in After Dinner
In a nutshell:A Place for Peace and Quiet with History

Very interesting info and lovely place for day life :-). Excuse, I have never heard about the Shakers, who they are?

Looks like a nice peaceful place! The Shakers are an interesting bunch.
