Another Virtual Tourist Celebration

El Segundo straddles Los Angeles Airport and it the resting place for all the VTr's when they fly into town for the annual VT celebration in Manhattan Beach. This year is was also the site of a Saturday night VT dinner at the Proud Bird Restaurant.

Airplane Museum

The Proud Bird grounds holds an Airplane Museum with planes from the earliest bi-plane to the first plane that broke the sound barrier. Very interesting, worth a visit even if you don't eat at the restaurant. Check out the site below

You can watch the planes coming in at LAX from the restaurant, thankfully, you can't hear them that much.

Pros:Close to the airport, Lots of Hotels Nearby

Hi Nancy ,absolutely beautiful pic's I have no idea what I was doing in that pic with Lori hehe.I was a GRAND weekend an this Proud Bird restaurant was awsome and so was sunday's brunch.
