Restaurant Name: Fune
Fune came highly recommended by the concerige at our hotel. Every one talks about it for the floating boats of sushi that encircle the sushi bar but the whole time we were there, no sushi on the boats! The food was good if not really great and the wait staff was attentive. I'd return there.
Favorite Dish: The Dynamite Roll (cut not hand roll)

Elephant & Castle (there are two locations, we visited the one on Yonge Street) A fine pub environment. The resturant is locate inside an old bank buliding with very high ceilings and a great wooden bar.
Favorite Dish: This is where I discovered Steam Whistle beer! It was suggested by our waitress when I asked for something 'local.' A great choice (see seperate listing for the brewery)!

Restaurant Name: Fish House
Located on Front Street, this place seems a real draw for the tourist crowd.
Favorite Dish: Their Clam Chowder. My blackened Swordfish sandwich was decent but the chowder was better.

Restaurant Name: Senator Resturant
The Senator is the real deal when it comes to diners. There are a lot of pretenders to the throne when it comes to the 'authentic' diner but the Senator has it down from the booths to the period candy and cigarettes, complete with retro packaging.
Favorite Dish: The blue berry pancakes! They were huge and very good.

Restaurant Name: Superior Resturant
This was our favorite dinner spot on the trip. The decor at the Superior is great (eclectic with modern mixed into traditional supper club). The wait staff was very good and we enjoyed a very respectable bottle of wine from the Niagra region. It's a bit pricey compared to the other places we ate but still not outragous, especially compared to a similiar resturant in NYC.
Favorite Dish: Ahi Tuna Steak

Restaurant Name: The Devil's Advocate
There was nothing especially notable about The Devil's Advocate other than it was convenient to our hotel (around the corner) and we were tired of looking for somewhere to eat. Having said that, the service was decent and they have a huge bar if you more interested in drinking.
Favorite Dish: Baked Perogies

Restaurant Name: Wolf & Firkin
A good pub with surprisingly good wait staff service. I think I'd point folks her more for drinking rather than eating but either way, you're safe and Elm Street is a cool location.
Favorite Dish: Typical pub grub but I liked the fries a lot and the rest of the meal was decent. Having downed a few pints of Rickard's Red probably didn't hurt!
