    Getting TO/AROUND: I usually rent a car, unless I will be in London. London is the only place I actually prefer mass transit to driving. (To the left is the road on the way to York from Lincoln. A bridge, barely discernable is also in the pic.)
    Renting a car is the easy part. Show your lisence and then go...but REMEMBER, they drive on the LEFT! (Which isn't as hard as you would think.) Mentally prepare yourself by constantly reminding yourself of which side you should be on the road! After a day or two of this, your body is used to the change. Warning: your passenger, if not used to the left hand side driving will worry that you are too close to their curb (left of the road). In reality, you are not, but it takes awhile for your body to acclimate to being a passenger on that side!
