PINK FLOYD :::well not exactly Will be back soon to write some info about my trip here with my 1 year old daughter and Agi my wife at the time. I was on a budget...we took the postal train down from Budapest, checked in to the hotel I booked before and it was round 3 in the morning. The next day I found our funds were low and had to make a fateful choice ... .to buy a roll of film to take pictures of the total eclipse or diaphers.... .Diaphers one just can't do without, not for a minute. So only a written account will follow of the day that the sun turned black for a few minutes. It got cold, the birds stopped singing and WOW what an event.

soulgirl Sat May 31, 2008 15:48 UTC I remember changing trains at Kecskemet, when travelling from Budapest to Kiskunmajsa. It was in the seventies. The place seemed full of statues. I presume it has changed a lot since then. Cathryn |
