Gainsville is known as the home of the University of Florida (think Gators) but is also a lovely little city in an area of Florida with much to offer.
Gainsville is in a lovely part of Florida and is well known for its outdoor activities...think hiking, biking, snorkeling, cave diving etc |

My wife and I just visited our daughter at UF and she took us here. I wasn't expected much since how interesting could butterflies be but this was an interesting place to visit. The attached museum of FL history was also interesting. |
