this is near Havana, I biked all the way and back on a run-down bike so anyone can do it.
Just a note to say that my photos are being rescanned. They all turned out with left on right and right on left the first time around. While I'm at it, I may as well put in more pics. Patience is required, I'm slow and sometimes even busy. :-)
- Pros:no es facil... makes it interesting

Reading your travelogues now. Hotel Inglaterra made me think of the Hotel Marquesa where we stayed in Peurto de la Cruz...the oldest and right in the heart of the city.
High on my wish list - Cuba! Cuban music - my favorite!! Learned Spanish through the Cuban music in NY - when Celia Cruz arrived w/grand wave of Cuban musicians. Grazias for grand tour! Sorry about that sunburn!
Amazing page Lou - the travelogues let me live for 45 minutes in Cuba with you. Good tips too - 'hierba buona' I assume is whatever is fresh and in season - doesn't have to be mint all the time.
Love Cuba .Great pages.Brings back good memories!!
Lovely sunny photos - wouldn't mind being there right now! Gillybob greetings
A place I have never thought of visiting. It has been interesting reading about your experiences here, and seeing your photos, thanks.
