People were lining up at the Arena early to see Notre-Dame de Paris, the musical by Plamondon.
All around, the street is lined with terrace cafés. I'm sure they're pleasant but I preferred quieter corners off Via Mazzini, the main street. Mazzini is a pedestrian street so you can take your time and relax. More laid back than Piazza Brŕ, where the Arena is. |
| | Piazza dei Signori Apart from the dog happily bouncing about, the main points of interests here are Dante and the Loggia del Consiglio. This is a Renaissance building (1476), known as the most beautiful if its time in Verona. It is really stunning, very rich in details and harmony. |
