Getting TO/AROUND: The T. Tokens cost $1 (40¢ for under-12s; 25¢ for senior citizens), though a trip on one of the Green or Red Line surface extensions can cost up to $2.25 (you pay the driver). The subway, or T, was America's first and is efficient, cheap and easy to use. Trains run from 5.15am to 12.30am Monday to Saturday and from 6am to 12.30am on Sundays. Free subway maps are available from major stations such as Harvard, Government Center, North Station, Back Bay, South Stationand Park Street. 'Outbound' and 'inbound' services often have different subway entrances: the direction is in relation to Park Street.
