Getting TO/AROUND: By air to Logan Airport.
Logan was not as bad as I had heard it was. Someone I know who avoids Logan at all costs flies into Providence, Rhode Island and rents a car to get to Boston--says it's faster than the trip from Logan. However, I don't know why ANYONE would want a car in Boston. There must be something else going on in Providence that I don't know about. LOL

Getting TO/AROUND: A carriage ride looks like a pleasant way to get around Boston. This photo is in front of the Black Rose pub.

    Getting TO/AROUND: The T.
Tokens cost $1 (40¢ for under-12s; 25¢ for senior citizens), though a trip on one of the Green or Red Line surface extensions can cost up to $2.25 (you pay the driver).
The subway, or T, was America's first and is efficient, cheap and easy to use. Trains run from 5.15am to 12.30am Monday to Saturday and from 6am to 12.30am on Sundays. Free subway maps are available from major stations such as Harvard, Government Center, North Station, Back Bay, South Stationand Park Street. 'Outbound' and 'inbound' services often have different subway entrances: the direction is in relation to Park Street.

In the "other contact" you were cut off on the really cool website. What was it?

Actually, the couple of blocks along Wash. Street is no longer referred to as the "combat zone" but the warning (that it's dark and should probably be avoided) still stands.

Great Boston pages. Wish I would have reviewed your pages before going to Boston for the first time earlier this month!
