    • Luggage And Bags: A wheeled bag is usually the best unless you're backpacking, the distances you have to carry your luggage at some of the train stations and airports can be quite far.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring your umbrella and a waterproof jacket. You will need it at some point in your trip. I was poured on in Cornwall, drizzled on in London and Bath, and gently showered on in Cardiff. A small foldable umbrella is the best. Mine fits in my purse.




    Miscellaneous: Remember to take a voltage adapter that has the different plugs with it. The electrical plugs are different than ones in North America. Plus you might have to get used to turning on the outlet, I kept forgetting to do that and wondered why the kettle wasn't boiling!

     Cornwall is nice - i think i could live in Cornwall. The beauty of Cornwall - esp if on the coast is very mild temperatures all through Winter with the Gulf Stream - Scotland is very nice - but weather more like Canada in Winter. I live inbetween
