Warnings Or Dangers: Okay, yes Canadians are...

  • Okay, yes Canadians are considered as nice polite people. But you still run the risk of getting mugged in Toronto. A friend of mine was mugged right outside the hostel he was staying at and robbed of his money. Just remember that Toronto is a big city and like most big cities you've got to act sensibly and don't draw attention to the fact that you're carrying around a lot of cash or valuables.

  • Be aware of the wind blowing at Niagara Falls when your Dad has his camera in hand. Something like this may haunt you the rest of your life! At least I had pretty flowered panties on! ; )

  • When visiting Toronto's beaches make sure that it is safe to swim that day. We've had problems with e-coli outbreaks in the water and sometimes the beaches are closed to swimming. You don't want to end your vacation by picking that up.
