Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. This city has quite a British feel to it and many of it's residents are orginally from the UK. It's quite a beautiful city and there is lots to do. I however only spent one day here in the week that I was on Vancouver Island. My Dad had moved to the island in 1989 and my visit was a surprise planned between myself and my stepmother. Dad certainly was surprised when he opened the closet door and I jumped out at him! I nearly gave him a heart attack! But as he hadn't seen me in over a year he soon forgave me :-) We spent the week touring around the island with a one day trip over to Vancouver. Dad lived in Qualicum Beach which is a couple of hours drive north of Victoria. Quite a lovely town on the water. This page will comprise all of my info from Vancouver Island! Enjoy! |

j-san Sat Apr 21, 2007 22:19 UTC Everyone says how gorgeous the wilderness is here, but I am absolutely petrified of bears! | tpal Sun Sep 18, 2005 16:08 UTC Next month we head west and will eventually end up in Victoria. We may not get much farther than the Empress and some of the gardens although it would be cool to see some bears :-o. See you next weekend...Tom | dave_21 Wed Jan 15, 2003 09:57 UTC Good page, great picture at Little Qualicum Falls! | frankcanfly Thu Dec 12, 2002 03:50 UTC The murals of Chemainus look interesting!
