<font face=AGaramond size=+1>It was the August long weekend and three friends and I piled into my roommate's Dodge Omni and headed from London, Ontario to Chicago. No air conditioning on a sweltering weekend. Left at 5:30 am and by 11 am we were in Chicago. On the way home it was still so hot that we shared a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the car. I had to spoon feed my roommate as she was driving! We only had the weekend there but it was great!

Hi, Laura! You're right about "Planet Hollywood", but as for me, I just preferred walking along the streets...
Nice page on Chicago. It is underated tourist destination. I love the restaurants, lakeside and pizzas there :)
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Chicago. June, September, October are best months...not hot and just beautiful. So many new things to see how. Come again, perhaps we'll have a VT meeting to welcome you!!
