Blackpool is the the town to visit when wishing to go and party all weekend by the sea. The piers jutting out into the sea are covered with amusements, fortune tellers and all the candy and ice cream shops you could imagine. The tawdriness just adds to the atmosphere of this long time holiday town. It’s very much like Brighton in the south with a much nicer beach, though the water is still damn cold. Bring your sense of fun when visiting here, don’t expect a romantic place, it’s definitely more of the hen party or stag night place. I traveled by myself to Blackpool and really wished I’d brought a friend, it’s just the town to let loose and have some fun. |
