Portsmouth was a destination on a 5 day driving tour which my friend and I embarked on. We'd spent the previous night in Salisbury and after calling ahead to book our B&B for the night we set off.
As per usual, we took a wrong turn and managed to discover the New Forest along the way. A serendipitous wrong turn as I'd always wanted to visit the New Forest.
We arrived in Portsmouth around 3pm and headed off to explore this ancient port town. |
