"An Unexpected Pleasure" West Meon by hayward68

West Meon Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 4 photos

My friend and I were on our way from Gatwick Airport to Stonehenge, having made a few wrong turns along the way. We eventually found out a westward leading road and whilst on it we saw a sign saying "Langrish" this way. Now, this just happens to be the surname of a friend of ours so we decided to take a detour in that direction. However we got there and drove right through, not thinking it very interesting. This road did lead us to the small village of West Meon though. We saw a great looking pub alongside the street and decided to stop here for our lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our short time here. Unexpected turns do end up as unexpected pleasures sometimes.
