Top of the Baths, Virgin...
  • Tip Rating:

  • Top of the Baths, Virgin Gorda. 'In 1987, the Government of the British Virgin Islands aacquired a portion of The Baths from our family. In keeping with the family tradition (which spans several generations), of treating visitors to The Baths warmly, we invite you to visit our open-air restaurant and enjoy true Caribbean hospitality!'
'Nestled atop the world famous Baths,we invite restaurant patrons to swim in our natural rock swimming pool, enjoy our breathtaking view or join us in watching the sunset. If you visit us during the winter migration of the humpback whales, you may catch a glimpse of a whale pod as it swims by The Baths!'

Favorite Dish: Everything is good: conch fritters, conch salad, catch of the day, Caribbean Lobster, Chocolate Sensation Rum Cake, Key Lime Pie.

  • Tip Rating:

  • Soggy Dollar. 'Sandcastle is the home of the Soggy Dollar Bar, the birthplace of the 'Painkiller' (a very popular rum drink among many guests who sail or motor into White Bay). Since we have no dock, many people swim ashore from their boats and buy their drinks with 'soggy dollars'.
The bar is the focal point of daytime activity and can get quite lively at times (especially on weekends). Sunday is typically a busy time with lots of ex-patriates motoring in from St.John and St. Thomas for the afternoon to enjoy a Painkiller, flying fish sandwich, and listen to Ruben Chinnery entertain with his guitar-playing and singing.'

Favorite Dish: Rum drink--Painkiller. Give me more Painkiller's.
