SEARCHING FOR FAMILY IN SLOVENIA
After I started my family history research, I finally found Slovenia on the globe: below Austria and Italy and across from Italy, bounded on the east by Hungry and south by Croatia.. This beautiful, uncrowded county, is easy to travel around, people are friendly, and those under 30 years old do speak passable English.
June 20, 2001, my Slovenian cousin Natasa Sterle and her family visited with us in Petaluma, California. I was glad to return some US hospitality for the great time my family showed us in Slovenia
