BEIJING, capital of China, is the gateway city to The GREAT WALL OF CHINA, one of the 7 wonders of the world! A symbol of Chinese genius the Wall involved more than 20 dynasties over a period of 2000 years to construct! It is said to be the only visible manmade structure from the outer space. Beijing is also the cultural center of China (23 public libraries, 46 cultural centers, 126 museums & exhibition halls, 42 professional art ensembles & troupes!). Many historical palaces & temples were built here. To visit Beijing is to get a little idea of what China is about... culturally. Other interesting & picturesque sceneries are found in Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain), Xi Hu (West Lake), Su Zou & Hang Zou.
