Life is often unpredictable... regardless of how well prepared we are.
A friend today may be a foe tomorrow & vice versa.
This thought came to mind while visiting Nanjing.
Japan & China ... so much have transpired,
... so much have been lost,
... so much have been learned!

History repeats itself? Hopefully NOT! At least, where this city is concerned.
As for me, I've learned a great deal the last couple of months;
some good, some bad ... but it's not the content that matters,
rather, the journey itself.
So, let us discover the modern day NANJING!
