UNITED KINGDOM, especially Scotland, is a place I’ve wanted to see ever since the movie Braveheart. Wow, what beautiful sceneries, on Braveheart I mean. Mel Gibson, director & actor of this beautiful movie is such a charming & intelligent guy. Thanks! Mel, for producing such a beautiful & meaningful movie! Excellent!!!

OK, now back to UK. Signed up on Insight tour soon after that. One thing though, on such tour you don’t get to see what you wanted to see. In this case, the awesome cliffs & coastline. What one gets in return for convenience is highlights of the country & sometimes there’re bonuses, (in the case of New Zealand), nice people you meet and overall understanding of the country. One normally doesn’t get what one wants in life but what one needs! It’s highly philosophical but that’s one way I’ve come to deal with life.

Interestingly, UK is one country that has added a new dimension to my life. My first visit was in 1993. (Again, it was on one of those 19 days, 7 countries type of tour, never do this unless it’s your only chance to see the world & that’s the budget you’ve to limit yourself to.) Before this, all I know of this country is the lovely Diana Spencer & her “big” wedding in the ‘80s. Oh boy, was she the greatest ambassador for her country! Mesmerized by her beauty, the world watched this fairy-tale princess turned into a mature woman & eventually her untimely death. I still remembered that fateful day! Switched on my laptop & boom - the headline on CNN.com was Diana met with a fatal accident! At that moment, I was so sad :-(((! May even have cried a little! She was really something; someone who’s cherished by many; loved for her beauty, fashion sense & sensitivity. The MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the world – Why does the fairy tale has to end?! Didn’t think that she’d have affected me that much; she’s half way across from this side of the world! But she did…so then, this is a page dedicated to the lovely Diana, Princess of Wales.
