TUNXI is the little town at the foot of Huangshan.
It's a place I visited without agenda.
After hiking 3 days in Huangshan & spending some time at its foot, I've some time left before my flight at night.
The girl driver (well, she's only 19!) suggested going into town as she wanted to do some shopping (after making those $$$ from me, ie ;-)).
So, happily we went.
Well, she did a lot more shopping than I did!
All I remembered was I was merely sampling the street food!
But it was a nice evening.
I was glad she made the money & happy that I made some contribution to the local economy, one way or another :-) |

I shall return after construction is completed. See my Tunxi page for advice on buying antiques. I think Tunxi is one of China's best antique markets. |
