HIROSHIMA! Oh boy, it was hot! For the 2 days I was in Hiroshima, I experienced one of the hottest temperature in my life. Hot, humid, not very pleasant ... but somehow I caught a tiny glimpse of what it was like then (though incomparable to THE disaster). It must have been hellish!!! For those who were too young to know what I am referring to, it's the first atomic bomb in the world that was dropped in this city during WWII (at 8.15 on Aug. 6, 1945). That was then.
Now, the city is bustling with hope & renewals. It's been known as peace city & tourists come from all over the world to visit its miraculous reconstruction. When elsewhere in the world others are still fighting for territorial rights & whatever disputes that's been ongoing, Hiroshima should serve as a reminder that history must never repeats itself. For this reason alone, I hope the world & leaders will always remember Hiroshima!
