Sharrie's Seattle Fling ; - )

"Sleepless In Seattle" must be the catchphrase that comes to mind, especially for all Meg Ryan's & Tom Hank's fans. Well, I didn't sleeeeep in SEATTLE either. Actually, my cousins & I drove all the way from Vancouver & back within the same day! What I can vaguely recalled was that they have nice homes in this quiet city (perhaps because we were there on Saturday...& spent a great deal of time at my aunt's friend's house). I also remembered a very good Japanese meal here; the sashimi & sushi were excellent! Ever heard of Pavlovian conditioning theory? Imagine that ;-) Mine could be even more serious; 2nd order conditioning! Anyway, for those of you who studied Psy 100/101 in the university should know what I'm talking about...

Ok, back to Seattle. BOEING is the main attraction & source of income for this city; dare I be wrong? I am extremely grateful to Boeing (& the pilots, of course) for flying me (safely) around the world in the last 20 years. Thank you, guys! Although it would be perfect if Boeing could launch its ultra supersonic aircrafts soon... it's just too boring sitting for 20 hours in the aircraft! Alternatively, wired us up on the net, then I could surf & check all those fantastic travelogs on VT!

I'm digressing again, ok, back to Seattle...

Enjoy...

We China travellers are fond of saying, "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going!" I hiked up Mt. Rainier while listening to bootleg gamelan tapes.
