PHILADELPHIA is where it all began ! Not McDonalds, not Microsoft, not the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, but, the birthplace of the Nation. It was the colonial capital's 1st center of government, commerce, shipping & religion. This is it - the 1st capital of the new nation!
For history buffs, Philly (that's what the locals call it) is a cradle of historical sites ranging from the Independence National Park (where the Liberty Bell is housed & where the Declaration of Independence & U.S. constitution were signed) to the mosaics of museums for exploration.
For me, Philly is a cool city with remarkable architecture & cultural landmarks including the Philadelphia Museum of Arts. It is a walk through time in the course of human events where one is inspired by the evolving views of freedom & independence.
This year is also the 225th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence & where one reflects upon the significance of this world event which has ultimately changed the world for a better place. It is a legacy that the patriots have left the American people & future generations with, to treasure & to love. Herewith lies the grace, greatness & significance of today's world.
