NOT a land of ice, NOT a land of barren, & NOT a land of oblivion!

Why go to Iceland? Many asked.
Why indeed?! If not for the fact that there's beauty in the unexplored, wonder in the unknown & challenge in the impossible.

Iceland is the first new country I visited this year (2002); the first VT country meeting I initiated & attended; the first place where I sighted & cruised around icebergs. Cool, isn't it? I love it so much so I'll be back in the future for another discovery - this time to the north & hopefully Greenland & Faroe Islands!

Tibet in May, Iceland in June. Impossible? Nay, I did it & I made it! :D
Most importantly, I love them both!!!

Wow! Iceland looks like a beautiful country to visit - so many unusual landscape features. I love the waterfalls, esp Gallfoss :) Great pic!

Just like in Edda, mysteriously mystique, breathtaking and enchanting in any possible way - the home of the Norse myths. You do have the sense for the exquisit!
