The Empress Palace - to be precise, Catherine I's.
A gift from a husband to the wife. The husband, none other than Peter the Great.
Brightly colored & roccoco styled, the palace is "hot" now that its amber room has been restored fully.
We waited for almost 3 hours just to get in!
Alternatively, u can try the other "entrance" - bribery is the name of the game.
It's an old trick but I was told it still works here.
To be or not to be...
