<BR><b>Elephant: </b>Elephant played important cultural & economic role in this country. In the past, the kings & princes of Ayutthaya rode into battle on war elephants while 'White Elephants' were symbols of royalty.

Wat Phraram.

<BR><b><font color='006699'>WAT PHRARAM:</font></b> Located outside the grand palace compound & was constructed on the ground where the cremation of King U-Thong took place.
<BR>A big lagoon in front of the monastery makes it one of the more beautiful monasteries found around this area.
<BR>
<BR>Admission Fee: 30 baht.
<BR>Open Daily: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.

<BR><b><font color='006699'>WAT NAPHRAMEN:</font></b> Located on bank of Khlong Sabua. A small monastery with the Ubosot design. 2 Buddha images are found here - 1 fully decorated in regal attire while another was made of stone.
