AUSTRIA: A country I've loved even before arriving. Why? Because I grew up listening to Strauss' waltzes. Tales from Vienna Woods, Blue Danube and many others...one of those unexplainable moments in life. Let's put it this way, it was all ingrained in me even before I had a chance to resist it. Who'd want to anyway? They are one of the most beautiful music I've listened to, especially since they were all we listened to in the car during my childhood trips to a lake about 3 hours drive from where I lived. Somehow, images of the lake seemed to flash in my mind whenever I listen to those songs. It's called classical conditioning, I believe. Thanks to my parents for this wonderful conditioning! Couldn't ask for anything better! So, this is why I wanted to see Vienna. Upon arrival, I was even more enthralled by it's elegance & richness of the Habsburg Empire. Oh Yes! You won't know how much you'd love a place until you've seen it with your own eyes!

Well, my first intro to Austria was actually a brief visit to Innsbruck while on a 19-day tour to Europe. My most memorable moments? Crystals... oh, they are beautiful! Crystals have some magical qualities to them. To me, they are modern art pieces to be treasured!

Mozart was why I wanted to see Salzburg. Not as dynamic as Vienna but beautiful nonetheless.

To sum it all, Austria is magical & musical!!!
