It's been years (7 to be exact) since I last visited Jakarta.
Jan. 19 was my cousin's wedding then.
People come & go.
Landscapes redefined.
& hence Jakarta has evolved... & hopefully for the better.
Yes, it's for the better.
The capital of Indonesia (being one of the most populated countries in the world) is also one of the most difficult to navigate.
Here, you need wheels.
Even with that, time is something which is beyond one's control.
Humility & Patience are learned here (over & over).
& learnt quickly you must.
Yet, something hasn't changed... the warmth of the locals & the welcome extended by my cousins.
It's good to see & know that this is still a place one can call home :-)
