Sharrie's Angkor Thum Survival

by Sharrie - last update: Mar 1, 2003

S U R V I V A L ... Reaching for the light... Not only what human beings strive for but an innate instinct in all living things as well, including trees. In fact, I sometimes wonder if an idea is "living" as well; an idea, a wish, a hope, a love... all has a life of its own, if not a power even stronger than what human termed living things.

I once watched a movie on a flight, it's an amazing story about love. No, not a love story, but a story about love. I cried during the entire movie & I didn't even care what everyone around was thinking (well, people are looking :P). It's so touching... just a story about a little boy whose love is real; but he is not! A sci-fi movie that has a human touch to it. A robotic boy who learns how to love & try to regain his mother's love. Fiction? Impossible? Perhaps, perhaps not... but after watching it, one knows in her heart if she has that capacity to love, to empathise. DO YOU? So, my question is, what is your source of light? Think about it... it is a journey that I guarantee you'll enjoy very much. The Search For Light.

Was it sun on the lens or a beam of light coming from the old monk? Something about Angkor Thum had the old soul of you coming through. Great photos of a must see place. Enjoyed the questions too.
