Chena Hot Springs is located in Fairbanks North Star Borough. This small town is, as the name implies, built around a natural hot spring.

The town is located south of the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge and west of Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, east of Fairbanks off Highway 2.
