There are several train-stations in Lisbon. In the picture you see the inside of the Rossio-station where trains from the north arive, which is in the center of the city. If you come from the west you probably arive at the Cais do Sodré railway station on the bank of the Tejo, not far from the center either. There are bus-services between the two stations. Number 14 is one of them.

We mostly used the bus. It's a very cheap way to travel! A single ticket that you buy from the driver will cost you 80 escudos. If you buy tickets up-front you'll pay only 90 escudos for a round-trip! Tickets are only valid as long as you follow the same line. If you change lines you have to pay again. Tickets are valid in the busses as well as in the trams.
