AKtravelers's new Sydney Page - Sydney

We liked Sydney! The people were friendly, the city was clean, the steets were safe and there were lots of great restaurants and bars. Skyscapers glistened in the bright sun and the botanical gardens pumped oxygen into the city center. We enjoyed the ferry rides around town and the many resturants and bars. All this despite the fact that we arrived in Sydney amidst the great bush fires that gave it all the atmosphere of an ashtray. So Sydney is pretty nice. However, the rest of Australia is much nicer -- so make sure you get out of Sydney and see what's unique about Australia. To just stay in Sydney would be a waste of time.
