| The widest avenue in the world is in BA |
After hiking in Tierra del Fuego, a flight scheduling snafu resulted in me and my backpacking buddies getting 24 hours in Buenos Aires (with free hotel!). We tried to pack as much as we could into our visit, but alas, it was too short. Buenos Aires is a city for lingering in restaurants and soaking up the atmosphere in parks, not rushing through in a mad dash. So, we have to return and visit it right next time. |

|  | Our Limited Itinerary My cousin Matt, his college buddy John and I saw only a bit of Buenos Aires. We strolled down the Avenue de 9 Julio and Avenue Florida, made it to the Plaza Mayor and to the Recolta area. I know that's not much, but it was enough to make returning to Buenos Aires a priority. |
