I've just arrived from Rome on my first trip to that wonderful place, still recovering from kilometers and kilometers walked, thousands words talked, and stunning stone pieces watched... and have written some tips, try to get a map to orientate better. If not available by now, at least grab one once there (info desktops on the street, or simply get into a good hotel and ask for one :). Rome is not dificult to orientate, but only based on references: hence the need of a good map with enough street names!
