My work as a writer and an editor has taken me to many enchanting lands where I have had the opportunity to don several hats - an ethnic drummer, a Muslim dancer, an obsessive-compulsive entrepreneur, a multicultural chef, a Hindu mystic, a mask maker, a stock market reporter, a news site webmaster, among a closetful of others. I am an experiential learner with the passion of a mystic, the eye of an anthropologist, and the wits of a monk gone mad.

In high school I had a Fido Dido notebook that says Normal is Boring and that has pretty much shaped the way I have lived my life.
