Previously I was studying Business Management-more precisely- Retail and Travel Management, before I left for France to study French linguistics,civilisations and culture. I was in Besançon,located in the Franche-Comte(departement du Doubs), a lovely town with lots of greenery for 2 years. I was on a 6 month exhange program in Perugia, Italy-another great place!

It was during my 2.5 year stay in Europe that I really started travelling (Had to make good use of weekends and holidays!) I really love Europe, and I think that it is one of the most beautiful continents in the world. I love European Architecture and food. I also find all asian cultures interesting. I hope to discover more about the Chinese culture (the descendants of many Singaporeans).

I have never been to the Middle East,Africa,and the Americas. On my wish list are Peru,Mexico,Argentina, Canada,Morocco and other parts of Europe(Scandinavian countries + East europe).

My passion for languages is growing continuously. I speak English as my first language,Chinese, Italian and French and am currently trying to learn polish- now that's really a tough language, but I am really amazed with its richness! I have also discovered my interest in culinary and flowers;-) My mum's a cooking/floral decoration/gift wrapping/Vegetable carving instructor as well as a columnist of desserts in the local newspapers and I guess I must have inherited that interest from her.

I have not been to so many places yet, but till date my favourite destinations are in Europe:-) They include: Amsterdam, Carcassone in southern France, Perugia, Assisi and Monteriggiorni in Italy, Prague, as well as Ustron and Cieszyn in Southern Poland (+ half of that Cieszyn in the Czech Republic!!)

Poland can be considered as a second home for me-my husband is Polish. I go there quite often. I think it's a country with great landscapes-beautiful UNESCO listed sites, hospitable people, with great food!! Yumm,Polish Kielbasa (Polish Sausage), Bigos(meat & vegetable stew) and Zurek, a sour rye soup, are my favourite food!
