Breakers Cafe and Bar: A nice spot for breakfast.

Breakers is situated in the Masonic Building in central Napier, just in front of Marine Parade. They open for breakfast at 8am and you can get a really good cooked breakfast here for a very affordable price. The service is quick and good.

Favorite Dish: The "All Day Breakfast" filled me up for the day of travelling that lay ahead and was topped off by a latte double shot. Yum.

Directions: Head for the Masonic Building, which is across Emerson Street from the clock tower on the A & B Building.

Hawkes Bay Seafoods: Fresh seafood - straight off the boat!

This little place in Westshore, serves up the traditional fish'n'chips as well as catering to the more expensive taste. Being a fish shop, you can step in and buy fresh fish and crayfish (lobster). My friends and I went in for fish'n'chips on our first night in Napier and I was sutiably impressed. It's a long time since I've had such good fish from a fish'n'chip shop. Even the chips were perfect!

Favorite Dish: Fish'n'chips of course!
