Paris

by worldkiwi - last update: Oct 9, 2004

Between December 27 and 31 2000, I spent five days in Paris - my first trip to the European mainland. All the hype about this city is absolutely true. It is one of the most beautiful and gracious cities you can imagine. I was blown away by everything I saw and experienced. Four days is the minimum anyone could spend in this city. I could have done with a few more days to really investigate some of the huge museums and historic buildings.
Paris is fantastic! If you get a chance to go - go.

Yup, I agree, Parisians are a helpful lot. I never had an unpleasant encounter in the city while I was there.
