Ho Chi Minh City is a bustling place where the traffic can make you dizzy and the architectural heritage can surprise you. It is a city that is clearly developing into a major commercial centre in a very fast way! The locals are really friendly and seem to be warmly open to foreigners. The city is easy to get around and contains some impressively restored colonial buildings. It's great to see a city retaining buildings from the past and using them for the present. If only western cities did the same!
