In April 2001, I was lucky enough to have a short but pretty far ranging trip around Cornwall. This county is at the furtherest south western end of England and is a land of dramatic coasts, picturesque ports, rolling hill country, haunting standing stones, and rugged stone strewn fields.
My route took me through the county from Bodmin Moor, to St Austell and the many attractions around that town; on to Marazion and the magical St Michael's Mount; to the Lizard, Land's End and the dramatic Cape Cornwall; and finally across the moor like Penwith Peninsula, up the dramatic north coast to sandy St Ives, Newquay and Padstow.
