Welcome to Earth. Population 1512. For about an hour on December 17th it was population 1513 because I was there. I followed highway 70 west from Springlake to arrive in Earth. Along the highway as I approached the small town the road shoulders were covered in cotton balls. The cotton had been harvested and some had blown out of the cotton trailers. Earth is a small agricultural community. Like a lot of small agricultural communties Earth is struggling a little because farmers are not doing as well. |
