I have lots of relatives in that part of Texas and go there when ever I can. It feels like going home to me. If you have not been to Texas before you should call the state's travel and tourism bureau for their FREE travel guide. 1-800-8888TEX is the number to call for a great book about things to do in the Lone Star state. (Photo is of Palo Duro Canyon south of Amarillo.)

Sorry, the Sad Monkey Railroad closed several years ago. It is now a lawn ornament at a ranch HQ about 3.5 miles west of Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
