In Kansas I grew up living not far from the Santa Fe trail. I had friends who worked for the ATSF railroad, SF meaning Santa Fe. For me Santa Fe was a mystery at the end of the trail I had not followed. On a trip to California from Kansas I took a day just to explore Santa Fe. I found it to be a wonderful city for any one who is interested in art, shopping, museums, history, or Native American Indians. I'll follow the old trail back to Santa Fe some day.
