Albuquerque was a place we stopped at on our trip to San Diego. We intended only to stay a few hours and spent most of the day there. We went up on Sandia Crest then went in to the city. This statue welcomes visitors to Old Town area of Albuquerque. We spent most of our time there in Old Town. We liked the historic shops and many restaurants. There were several museums close by for us to visit. We had a nice time in Albuquerque and only saw a small portion of the things the city has to offer.

Becky, don't feel badly. I used to have a small cactus garden and it hated my husband. They would throw their spines at him. Me I could handle them bare handed and seldom ever get a spine. If I did it was never deep. Would just come off with scotch tape.

Looks like you enjoyed your trip. Surrounding terrain is breathtaking. Worth another visit.
