My wife and I went to St. Charles in June of 2000 for a long weekend. We went sight seeing there and in St. Louis also. For three days we tried to see and do as much as possible. We enjoyed the old city of St. Charles. It has many great old buildings on Riverside drive. Many of these places cater to tourists now with shops, restaurants, and museums. Had to get up pretty early in the morning to get this photograph without a lot of cars on the street. By midmorning this place is busy with tourists.
