Nevada was an unplanned stop for me. My truck's drive shaft fell out on the highway about 7 miles from there. I spent a day in Nevada waiting for my truck to be repaired. I saw as much of the town as I could walk to from the repair shop and back. This is a sign in a small park at the edge of town near the repair shop. I always read these historical signs if I have a chance.

Rough trip. Car breaks down and you spend time in the joint!!! Glad your other visit to the Indian Village was less eventful!
