My wife and I go to Kansas City area often. One of our recent trips there was on our wedding anniversary. We saw this statue at the Nelson-Atkins art museum and since we had been kissing each other all day I took this picture of it. Kansas City metro area includes many cities in two states. To make this easier on myself I will break this page down in to two pages. One for Kansas City, Kansas and one for Kansas City, Missouri. I will not write seperate travel pages for all the smaller cities like Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Lee's Summit, Claycomo, and Independence that make up the combined metropolitan area. It is a big sprawling urban area with a great deal to see and do. If you liked this page and are planning a trip to KC please also look at the Kansas City, Kansas page I've written. |

Kajron Tue Apr 5, 2005 16:51 UTC it is really interesting! | Nemorino Sun Jun 13, 2004 21:22 UTC In case you're still looking for an opera to go to, try Rossini's Cinderella at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City next September. Frankfurt is doing the same opera starting next week, and I've also seen it in N?rnberg. It's light, lively, catchy and funny. | yen_2 Wed Jul 10, 2002 04:36 UTC Wonderful photo`s with useful informations,great!!!!:-} | Davidp1952 Wed Jun 19, 2002 01:51 UTC Super page! |
