Preparing for the Grand Reopening
Earth, Wind and Sea had been located in the Bazaar Del Mundo but has moved over to Congress Street. The grand opening is, today actually and for a change of style stop by to see their new shop. This is a place to find those unusual things to put in the garden to make it look unique.
What to buy: Wind chimes are always a nice gift. Personally I like their tall Giraffes!
What to pay: A fair, but high price for each item.

Looks simple doesn't it?
If you only had time for one shop in Old Town, Miranda's Courtyard is the place I would direct you to. It is an Old Town site on it's own. You could stand in one spot for ten minutes and still not see everything there is!
This was once a house and the items inside are organized better than in the courtyard, but that isn't saying much, really. That courtyard has a surprise in every direction you look.
However many members in your party, you each can browse for quite some time without getting bored. I'm sure of this because, I am not really a shopper and this is where I take friends who are because each time I go I know I'll have something new to discover.
I haven't even mentioned the melodic sounds of the various types of wind chimes. I especially like the bamboo chimes.
There are lots of shops in Old Town selling the same basic stuff, but this is a charming place and shouldn't be missed.

My Favorite Shop
This store attracts my attention every time I go to Bazaar del Mundo. So many things for cooking, for the table or to accessorize a special dinner, from elegant hand painted items to wild colorful cloths, dinnerware and spices.
There are products of Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Italy and the American Southwest to name a few. Some of the items are pretty expensive but there is something for every budget at this shop."
What to buy: Keep in mind that anything you buy goes to help seven families in Guatemala who weave the beautiful cloth!
What to pay: What ever you can afford and what you feel is worth the price.
